Dr. Beth Schiavino-Narvaez recently marked a significant milestone during her inaugural visit to Fort Jackson.

Fort Knox Middle High School’s (FKMHS) Troupe 11673 emerged victorious in the Chapter Select competition, earning the honor to represent Kentucky at the International Thespian Festival.

Fort Knox MHS Wins State-wide Theater Competition

The students will now represent the state of Kentucky at the International Thespian Festival at Indiana University during the summer of 2025.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The Department of Defense (DoD) will join the nation in celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on Monday, January 20, 2025.

DoDEA Students Selected for 2025 United States Senate Youth Program

The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) has announced that high school students Ms. Emily Wheeler and Ms. Alliyah Regala will represent DoDEA during the 63rd annual USSYP Washington Week, to be held March 1 – 8, 2025.

Teacher of the Year Program

Do you know a teacher who has had a positive impact on your child, your child's school, or your community? Nominate them for Teacher of the Year. Nominations are open until February 14, 2025.

American Education Week

From November 11-15, DoDEA joins the nation in celebrating National School Psychology Week. School psychologists effectively link teaching, learning, and mental health to improve outcomes and are a ready resource in schools.
